Pursuant to Section 30 of the State Development Act 2025, Project NeoSmelt is designated as a priority project. The Minister for State Development has had regard to the object of the Act and is satisfied this project is of strategic or economic significance to Western Australia. This designation is made with the approval of the Premier.
