The City of Kalamunda issues a Fire Hazard Reduction Notice for 2026/2027, requiring all landowners and occupiers within the City to complete specified fire hazard reduction works by 1 November 2026 and maintain them until 31 March 2027. Non-compliance is an offence with penalties up to $5,000. The City's Authorised Officers may carry out uncompleted works after 1 November 2025, with costs recoverable from the owner/occupier. Requirements include fire breaks, dead flammable material reduction, slashing, and asset protection zones.
