Notice to all owners and/or occupiers of land within the City of Fremantle. Pursuant to Section 33(1) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, the City of Fremantle requires owners/occupiers to undertake works by 1 November 2024. Requirements include removing flammable matter or clearing firebreaks. Property inspections will be conducted between 1 November and 31 March each year. Failure to comply may result in a penalty of up to $5,000.
