Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 38b of the rottnest island authority regulations 1988, the rottnest island authority (ria) hereby closes the following waters to all vessels, excluding bona fide emergency vessels and approved contractor vessels between 6:00am on saturday 3rd november 2018 to 6.00pm on saturday 4th may 2019. This covers all waters within 10m of the army jetty structure excluding the army jetty boat ramp. Waters are closed to ensure public safety.
