Pursuant to the Public Sector Management Act 1994 section 35(2), notice is hereby given that the Governor has established and altered the designation of several departments with effect on and from 1 July 2025.

Changes the designation of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety to the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.
Designates The Honourable Matthew Swinbourn MLC as the Minister for the purposes of the Supreme Court Act 1935 section 154(3) and (4) from September 24, 2026, to September 27, 2026.
Approves the temporary appointment of Hon S. N. Dawson MLC as Minister for Police, Emergency Services, and Great Southern from September 24 to September 28, 2026.
Approves the temporary appointment of Hon M. D. Swinbourn MLC to act as Attorney General and Minister for Corrective Services, Commerce, Tertiary and International Education from September 24 to 27, 2026.
