The Public Trustee as executor of the will of Barbara Carter has applied to the Supreme Court of Western Australia for approval of a scheme under the Charitable Trusts Act 1962. The scheme proposed is that in lieu of the provision in the will of Barbara Carter dated 19 August 1999 to Save the Children Fund (Western Australian Division) Inc which was deregistered on 21 November 2001, the provision be made to Save the Children Australia to be applied for purposes within Western Australia.
