The City of Kwinana gives notice to all owners and occupiers of land within its district that they are required to complete specific fire prevention measures before 1 December 2026 and maintain compliance until 31 May 2027. Failure to comply is an offence under section 33(3) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, carrying a fine of up to $5,000. The City may undertake works and recover costs for non-compliance.
