Under the powers conferred by the Cat Act 2011, the Local Government Act 1995 and all other powers enabling it, the Council of the City of Greater Geraldton resolved on 25 August 2020 to make the following local law. This is the City of Greater Geraldton Cats Local Law 2020. This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. The City of Geraldton Responsible Cat Ownership Local Law 2006 published in the Government Gazette on 7 July 2006 is repealed.
