These regulations amend the Firearms Regulations 1974. Regulation 26 is amended to include exceptions for members of the Police Force, employees of the Department, members of police forces of other states or territories, and members of the Australian Federal Police in the performance of their duties. Further amendments relate to firearms, major firearm parts, sound suppressors or ammunition specified in Schedule 2A under certain licensed conditions.
