These regulations are the Local Government Regulations Amendment Regulations 2023. These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette (gazettal day); (b) regulation 6 — on 1 September 2023; (c) the rest of the regulations — on the day after gazettal day. This Part amends the Local Government (Financial Management) Regulations 1996.
