Made under the Public and Bank Holidays Act 1972 section 8(1) by the governor in executive council. This proclamation is the king’s birthday holiday 2023 (port hedland and karratha) proclamation 2023. Instead of monday 25 september 2023, monday 7 august 2023 is to be the celebration day for the anniversary of the birthday of the reigning sovereign in 2023 in the port hedland local government district; and the karratha local government district.
