Local Aboriginal cultural heritage services (LACHS) perform an important role in the identification, conservation and management of Aboriginal cultural heritage (ACH) and undertake key functions under the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021 (Act). These guidelines set out the requirements for the fee structure for the fees a LACHS is able to charge for services it provides in connection with its functions.
