Enacts the Shire of Yilgarn Dogs Local Law 2017.

The council of the Shire of Yilgarn resolved on 16 March 2017 to make the following local law under the powers conferred by the Dog Act 1976 and the Local Government Act 1995. This local law may be cited as the Shire of Yilgarn Dogs Local Law 2017 and comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. This local law applies throughout the district.

Requests the Minister for Local Government to approve the revestment of land in the Crown due to unpaid rates and charges unless outstanding amounts are paid within 30 days.
Approves the Shire of Yilgarn Local Planning Scheme amendment to update terms, appendices, numerals, and clauses related to scheme aims and zone objectives.
Prohibits burning of garden refuse and camp/cooking fires within the Shire of Yilgarn during restricted and prohibited burning periods.
