It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the Shire of Carnarvon Local Planning Scheme No. 13 on 15 September 2026, for the purpose of rezoning Lot 802 from 'Rural' to 'Tourism', reclassifying residual land of former Gnaraloo Road reserve to 'Tourism' zone, and reclassifying Lots 912, 913, and 914 from 'Foreshore' reserve to 'Tourism' zone, and updating the scheme map.

Approves the reclassification of Lot 556 on Deposited Plan 415840 from 'Foreshore' reserve to 'Tourism' zone within the Shire of Carnarvon Local Planning Scheme No. 13.
Requires all land owners and occupiers within the Shire of Carnarvon to implement specific fire prevention measures by November 1, 2026, and maintain them until April 30, 2027.
