Notice is given that the Minister for Environment, has approved the draft Santalum spicatum (Sandalwood) Biodiversity Management Programme 2023 under section 73(1) of the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. The programme provides objectives and strategies for the protection, conservation and management of sandalwood including its ecologically sustainable use. The programme commences on the date this notice is published in the gazette.
