Pursuant to Section 30 of the State Development Act 2025, the Clean Energy Link—Kwinana development project is designated as a priority project. This designation is made with the approval of the Premier, recognising the project's strategic or economic significance to Western Australia. The project involves new terminals and transmission infrastructure to support increased electricity transfer capacity and industrial load growth.
