This is a state planning policy prepared under section 26 of the Planning and Development Act 2005. It may be cited as state planning policy 5.3: land use planning in the vicinity of jandakot airport. The objectives of this policy are to protect jandakot airport from encroachment by incompatible land use and development so as to provide for its ongoing, safe, and efficient operation; and minimise the impact of airport operations on existing and future communities, with reference to aircraft noise.
