Notice Text
Section 6(1) of the act provides that it does not apply to liability for damages because of the death of or personal injury to a person; any negligence or other fault of a lawyer in acting for a client in a personal injury claim; a breach of trust; fraud or dishonesty. Section 6(2) of the act provides that it does not apply to liability that may be the subject of proceedings under the land title act 1994, part 9, division 2, subdivision c. The scheme applies in queensland pursuant to the act.
