The Council of the Town of Bassendean resolved on 26 May 2026 to make the Activities in Thoroughfares and Public Places and Trading Local Law 2026, under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995. This local law covers preliminary matters, activities in thoroughfares and public places, advertising signs, obstructing animals, vehicles or shopping trolleys, trading in thoroughfares and public places, permits, objections and appeals, miscellaneous notices, and enforcement.
