The council of the City of Albany resolved on 28 July 2020 to make the following local law under the powers conferred by the Cat Act 2011, the Local Government Act 1995, and under all other powers enabling it. This local law may be cited as the City of Albany Animals Local Law 2020 and comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. The City of Albany Animals Local Law 2001 published in the Government Gazette on 15 January 2002 is repealed. This local law applies throughout the district.
