Petroleum exploration permit TP/28 has been granted to ConocoPhilips (Browse Basin) Pty Ltd, PetroChina International Investment (Australia) Pty Ltd and Origin Energy Browse Pty Ltd pursuant to section 8(1) of the Petroleum Titles (Browse Basin) Act 2014 in respect to block 6465 Brunswick Bay (SD51) map sheet, and will remain in force for a period of five (5) years commencing on 18 January 2017. In accordance with section 8(4) of the Petroleum Titles (Browse Basin) Act 2014, on the WA-398-P renewal day (19 January 2017) adjacent area blocks 6446 and 6537 of the Brunswick Bay (SD51) map sheet became the subject of Petroleum Exploration Permit TP/28 and part of its permit area for the purpose of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982.
