The Shire of Chittering wishes to advise that pursuant to Section 24G of the Bush Fires Act 1954, as of Friday 26 April 2019 at 1800 hrs the prohibition on the burning of garden refuse will transition to Restricted Burning and a Permit To Burn will be required for all burning activities within the Shire of Chittering for the remainder of the 2019 Autumn Restricted Burning Time, this includes 1 cubic metre piles after 6 pm.
