Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Regulation 10A (b) of the Navigable Waters Regulations 1958, I hereby close the following area of water to swimming between the hours of 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM on Saturday 9th October 2021. Lake Yealering. Area of Closure:—All of the waters contained within an area delineated by buoys commencing from a point located at approximately 32° 35.764′S, 117° 37.459′E (approximately 112 metres south east from Lake Yealering Caravan Park) thence to approximately 32° 35.853′S, 117° 37.500′E (approximately 174 metres southeast) thence to a point at approximately 32° 35.769′S, 117° 37.860′E (approximately 585 metres northeast, thence approximately 192 metres northwest towards the shore at approximately 32° 35.683′S, 117° 37.789′E, thence southwest to the point of commencement. The above closure does not apply to participants taking part in the approved “Lake Yealering Regatta 2021” event.
