Under the powers conferred by the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007 and the Local Government Act 1995, the Council of the City of Bayswater resolved on 22 March 2022 to make the following local law. This local law may be cited as the City of Bayswater Waste Amendment Local Law 2022. This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

Requires landowners and occupiers in the City of Bayswater to comply with firebreak conditions by November 1, 2020, or within 14 days of becoming an owner/occupier until March 31, 2021, and prohibits burning off.
Appoints bush fire control officers and cancels previous appointments.
Corrects an error in a previous notice regarding the Morley Activity Centre zoning table, changing the designation of 'telecommunications infrastructure' from an 'A' use to a 'D' use.
Approves City of Bayswater Local Planning Scheme amendment to include 'Telecommunications Infrastructure' as a land use.
