Exemptions from speed restrictions for vessels towing disabled water skiers at Point Walter and Mangles Bay are granted under Section 115A of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982. Exemptions apply to 8 knot speed restrictions and certain regulations, with conditions including a maximum speed of 12 knots and navigation to gazetted water ski areas. The exemption is valid until 1 August 2023 and revokes the previous exemption WAMA—2019—203305.
