To prevent bush fires and to minimise the spread of a bush fire, all owners and occupiers of land within the City’s district are required to comply with the requirements of this Annual Fire Hazard Reduction Notice. Failing to comply with the requirements of this Notice is an offence under the Bush Fires Act 1954, which carries a penalty of up to $5,000.
