TN301 Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 Road Traffic (Vehicles) Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2022 SL 2022/57 Made by the Governor in Executive Council. 1. Citation These regulations are the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2022. 2. Commencement These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day. 3. Regulations amended These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Regulations 2014. 4. Specified day For the purposes of section 18 of the Act, the specified day in relation to these regulations is 1 July 2022. 5. Regulation 53 amended In regulation 53 delete “and renewing a licence” and insert: or renewing a vehicle licence 3058 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 20 May 2022 6. Regulation 54A inserted At the end of Part 2 Division 7 Subdivision 1 insert: 54A. Reduction if election made for 1 year grant or renewal (1) If an application is made for the grant or renewal of a vehicle licence for a vehicle other than a heavy vehicle and an election is made under regulation 31(1) for a 1 year grant or renewal of that licence, the charge for the grant or renewal is reduced by $6.60. (2) A reduction under subregulation (1) is to be applied before any concession under these regulations. 7. Regulation 55 amended In regulation 55 delete “heavy vehicles (as defined in regulation 12).” and insert: heavy vehicles. 8. Regulation 56 deleted Delete regulation 56. 9. Regulation 57 amended In regulation 57: (a) delete “$24.56” and insert: $13.20 plus $25.52 (b) delete “licence fee of $520.00.” and insert: charge of $533.00. 10. Regulation 58 amended In regulation 58: (a) delete “$24.56” and insert: $13.20 plus $25.52 (b) delete “fee of $1 373.00.” and insert: charge of $1 407.00. 11.
