Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 10a (b) of the navigable waters regulations 1958, i hereby close all of the following waters to swimming between the hours of 7:30pm and 8:15pm on saturday 8th april 2017— city of perth area of closure: All the waters within a 100 metre radius of the firing point located at approximately 31°57.576′s, 115°51.242′e just outside of elizabeth quay. This area is set aside for safety measures during the set up and display of pyrotechnics.

Requires landowners/occupiers to remove inflammable matter from their land by October 31, 2020, and maintain it until April 30, 2021.
Appoints Konrad Seidl as Chief Bush Fire Control Officer and Vivian Browne as Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer for the City of Perth, along with other Bush Fire Control Officers.
Approves City of Perth local planning scheme amendment related to plot ratio and land use in Claisebrook Inlet and East Perth.
Exempts City of Perth from insuring under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, except for industrial diseases under section 151(a)(iii).
