Pursuant to section 66 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, the waters are closed to all vessels in the area within the breakwaters of the Ocean Reef Marina, bounded by specified coordinates. This closure does not apply to vessels owned/operated by any agency of Western Australian Government or the Australian Government, or works vessels associated with the development of the Ocean Reef Marina.

Requires all land owners and occupiers within the City of Joondalup to remove inflammable material and clear firebreaks by October 31st annually to control bushfires.
Prohibits the burning of garden refuse or rubbish within the City of Joondalup at all times during the year.
Appoints Bush Fire Control Officers for the City of Joondalup under the Bush Fires Act 1954.
Approves amendment to City of Joondalup Local Planning Scheme No. 3 regarding short-term rental accommodation.
