The electoral commissioner has made the electoral (political finance) notice 2025 under regulation 26 of the electoral (political finance) regulations 1996. This notice applies to periodic elections for the legislative assembly and the legislative council, and to third-party campaigners generally. It modifies the operation of the electoral (political finance) regulations 1996, allowing computerised accounting systems for receipt and acknowledgement books.
