CE403 CEMETERIES ACT 1986 Section 53 Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup In accordance with the powers conferred by Section 53 of the Cemeteries Act 1986 the Council of the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup resolved on 27 May 2026 to set the following fees and charges for 2026/27, with effect 14 days from the date of this gazettal notice. CEMETERY FEES AND CHARGES FEES AND GST CHARGES 2026/27 Plot fees Mausoleum—Site fee per m2 of rate equivalent to normal grave POA Y site Grant of Right of Burial Grant of Right of Burial—Land 2.5m x 1.25m (plus $871.00 N administration fee) Pre-need Grant of Right of Burial (plus administration fee) $1,134.00 N Transfer of Form of Grant of Right of Burial—or issue of Copy of $55.15 N Grant Renewal of Grant of Right of Burial $110.25 N Interment Fees (applicable to burials scheduled and completed between 9.00am to 2.45pm weekdays. Additional fees apply outside those times.) Interment fees (depth to 1.8m) on application for a form of order for burial for Ordinary grave for an adult $1,680.00 Y Grave for any child under 7 years $1,260.00 (75% of Y adult charge) Grave for any stillborn child $672.00 (40% of adult Y charge) Interment of cremated ashes by Council staff $259.90 Y Interment fees (depth greater than 1.8m) Each additional 30 centimetres $238.90 Y Interment—other Interment without due notice (as prescribed in Local Law) $397.45 Y Interment not in usual hours (as prescribed by Local Law, $1,650.00 Y Monday to Friday) Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays $2,200.00 Y Late arrival at Cemetery gates $275.65 Y Re-Opening fees Ordinary grave for an adult $2,213.40 Y Of a child under seven years of age $1,405.45 Y A stillborn child $821.65 Y Where removal of footings is necessary according to the time $94.50 per hour Y required Headstones and Monuments Permission to erect a headstone or kerbing $93.45 N Permission to erect memorial plaque & plinth $93.45 N Permission to erect a monument $93.45 N Permission to erect a nameplate $93.45 N CEMET
