Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 10a (b) of the navigable waters regulations 1958, i hereby close all of the following waters to swimming, between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm on thursday 26th january 2017. Town beach jetty, broome. Area of closure:—all the waters within a 150 metre radius of the firing point located at position 17°58.275′s and 122°14.276′e on the town beach jetty broome. This area is set aside for safety measures during the set up and display of pyrotechnics associated with the australia day celebration 2017. Mariners are advised to take caution when navigating in the area.
