PL401 PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 2005 APPROVED LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENT Shire of Mount Magnet Local Planning Scheme No. 2 Amendment No. 2 File: TPS/3041 It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the Shire of Mount Magnet Local Planning Scheme No. 2 on 20 January 2025 for the purpose of— 1. Reclassifying portions of Lot 301 Mt Magnet-Hill 50 Road, Mt Magnet, from ‘Public Open Space’ and ‘No zone’ to ‘Drainage / Waterway’, ‘General industry’ and ‘No zone’. 2. Reclassifying portion of Lot 593 Moses Street, Mt Magnet, from ‘Public Open Space’ to ‘General industry’. 3. Reclassifying portions of Lot 300 Great Northern Highway, Mt Magnet, from ‘Public Open Space’ and ‘No zone’ to ‘General industry’ and ‘Drainage / Waterway’. 4. Reclassifying Portion of Lot 354 (VCL), Laurie Street, Mt Magnet, from ‘Environmental Conservation’ to ‘Drainage / Waterway’ and ‘General industry’. 5. Reclassifying UCL (PIN 629484) Laurie Street, Mt Magnet, from ‘Environmental Conservation’ to ‘Drainage / Waterway’. 6. Reclassifying portions of road reserves from ‘Public Open Space’ and ‘No zone’ to ‘General industry’, ‘Drainage / Waterway’ and ‘Public Open Space’. 7. Rezoning portion of Lot 555 (PIN 11915638) and UCL Lot 558 (PIN 11915639) from Public Open Space to Special Use zone (SU1). 8. Classifying all lot 501 on DP 72447 (PIN 11969411) as Light Industry zone. 9. Rezoning portion on UCL (PIN 1122608) from Public Open Space to Local Road to reflect Richardson Street. 10. Rezoning Lot 548 on DP 217012 (PIN 1122597) from Residential to Local Road to reflect Richardson Street. 11.
