Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995, and all other powers enabling it, the council of the City of Perth resolved on 27 June 2023 to make the following local law— 1. Citation this local law is cited as the City of Perth Repeal Local Law 2022. 2. Commencement this local law comes into operation 14 days after its publication in the Government Gazette. 3. Air-conditioning, special events local laws repealed (1) the City of Perth air-conditioning units 2004 published in the Government Gazette on 17 December 2004 is repealed. (2) the City of Perth special events local law 2007 published in the Government Gazette on 27 November 2007 is repealed.

Requires landowners/occupiers to remove inflammable matter from their land by October 31, 2020, and maintain it until April 30, 2021.
Appoints Konrad Seidl as Chief Bush Fire Control Officer and Vivian Browne as Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer for the City of Perth, along with other Bush Fire Control Officers.
Approves City of Perth local planning scheme amendment related to plot ratio and land use in Claisebrook Inlet and East Perth.
Exempts City of Perth from insuring under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, except for industrial diseases under section 151(a)(iii).
