The fes commissioner is the prescribed hazard management agency (hma) for emergency management for the hazard of cyclone. I, darren klemm, commissioner of the department of fire and emergency services, hereby declare an emergency situation in respect of the severe tropical cyclone zelia. The area of the state to which the emergency situation declaration applies is— shire of ashburton, shire of east pilbara, city of karratha and the town of port hedland.
