Notice Text
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s draft Gnangara groundwater allocation plan is now available for public comment. The draft plan covers the aquifers of the Gnangara groundwater system, extending north from the Swan River (Derbarl Yerrigan) to Gingin. The aquifers provide about 40 per cent of Perth’s drinking water, water for agriculture, water for parks, sports grounds and gardens and support dependent wetlands and bushland.
