The city of kalamunda gives notice to owners and occupiers of land within the city to comply with fire hazard reduction requirements by 1 november 2022, and maintained until 31 march 2023. Requirements vary based on land size, including fire breaks, dead flammable material reduction, slashing, and asset protection zones. Penalties apply for non-compliance. Variation requests are due by 1 october 2022, with a $150 fee for late applications.
