Made under the Public and Bank Holidays Act 1972 section 8 by the governor in executive council. This proclamation is the queen’s birthday holiday 2018 (port hedland and karratha) proclamation 2018. Instead of monday 24 september 2018, monday 6 august 2018 is to be the celebration day for the anniversary of the birthday of the reigning sovereign in 2018 in the port hedland local government district; and the karratha local government district.

Declares a total fire ban for the local government districts of Karratha and Port Hedland on August 12, 2026.
Requires all landowners and occupiers within the City of Karratha to clear and maintain mineral earth breaks and reduce fuel load on their properties.
Appoints the sittings of the District Court for the year 2027, including civil and criminal sittings in Perth, Fremantle, and various circuit locations, and specifies Winter Recess dates.
Appoints the sittings of the Supreme Court at circuit towns for the year 2027.
