Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Westonia resolved on the 21st February 2023 to make the following Local Law. This Local Law is the Shire of Westonia Westonia Historical Precinct Local Law 2023. The purpose of this Local Law is to prescribe the design of development, including buildings and fencing, within the Westonia Historical Precinct. The effect of this Local Law is to ensure the continuation of historical facades and fencing within the Westonia Historical Precinct.
