It is hereby notified for public information that the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), acting pursuant to Part 8 of the Planning and Development Act 2005, has certified, and recommended that, for the purpose of advancing the planning, development and use of the land described below, it should be made the subject of Improvement Plan No. 56—Malaga Station Precinct. The amended improvement plan area comprises the land depicted on WAPC Plan number 3.2790/1. The purpose of this improvement plan is to enable a coordinated approach to planning and development in the Malaga Station Precinct, to ensure that rail infrastructure is delivered in an efficient manner and to facilitate future development of a contemporary transit oriented development in the surrounding precinct. The recommendation has been accepted by the Minister for Planning and the Governor. The amended Improvement Plan No. 56—Malaga Station Precinct is effective on and from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.
