Basis of Rates — City of Karratha Mining Tenements
Determines that the City of Karratha will use gross rental value as the basis for rates on mining tenements and excludes section 6.29(2) of the Act.

Minister determines that the method of valuation to be used by the City of Karratha, as the basis for a rate on the mining tenements referred to in Column 1 of the Schedules (Description), in respect of the portions of land referred to in Column 2 of the Schedules (Portion of Land), is to be the Gross Rental Value of the land; and expressly excludes the application of section 6.29 (2) of the Act to the mining tenements, in respect of the portions of land.
