Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 10a.(b) of the navigable waters regulations 1958, i hereby prohibit swimming in the following waters, between the hours of 8:30pm and 10:00pm on the 31st december 2017— esperance area of closure: all the waters within a 300 metre radius of a central firing point at approximately 33˚51.601′s 121˚53.996′e, located approximately 350m north north–east off the james st groyne. This area is set aside for safety measures during the set up and display of pyrotechnics.
