Enacts the Shire of Gingin Extractive Industries Local Law 2025 to regulate extractive industries within the Shire.

The council of the Shire of Gingin resolved on 17 June 2025 to make the Extractive Industries Local Law 2025. This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. It applies throughout the whole of the district, but does not apply to the extraction of minerals under the Mining Act 1978 or on Crown land. The Shire of Gingin Extractive Industries Local Law 2004 is repealed.
