Notice Text

Fire prevention work required on land by 1st May each year, maintained until 15th January. Firebreaks to be maintained as stipulated in schedule 1-9. Failure to comply may result in infringement notice ($250) or prosecution (up to $1000). Shire may carry out work at cost to owner. Application may be made to Council by 15 February for permission to provide firebreaks in alternative positions or take alternative action to reduce fire hazards.
