Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, owners and occupiers of land within the City of Vincent are required to clear inflammable matter on their land by October 31, 2022, and maintain it cleared until April 30, 2023. Requirements vary based on land size. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to $5,000.00. Burning garden refuse and lighting fires in the open air is prohibited between October 31, 2022, and April 30, 2023.
