Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 67 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, I hereby cancel Notice MX407 and Notice MX411 as published in the Government Gazette on 14 November 2008 and hereby limit the speed of all motorised vessels to eight (8) Knots within the following area—location; those waters of the Indian Ocean and Roebuck Bay bounded by the shore and a line commencing at 18°0.426′S, 122°12.344′E (on the shore approximately 300 metres west of the Entrance Point boat ramp); thence to the Entrance Point South Cardinal marker at approximately 18°0.674′S, 122°12.503′E (540 metres south-south-easterly); thence to the Harbour Starboard Mark 3 at 18°0.302′S, 122°13.367′E (approximately 1670 metres east-north-easterly); thence to 17°58.318′S, 122°14.318′E (corresponding to the end of the jetty at Broome Town Beach), but excluding the area closed to motorised vessels. All coordinates based on GDA94.
