Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Regulation 38B of the Rottnest Island Regulations 1988, the Rottnest Island Authority hereby closes the following waters to all vessels, excluding bona fide emergency and authorised vessels—monday 20 november 2017—0001hrs to thursday 23 november 2017—1200hrs thomson bay all the waters within 40 metres of the shoreline, from a point on the foreshore 400 metres south of the hotel jetty and extending in a northerly direction to mushroom rock at bathurst point.
