Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Regulation 38B of the Rottnest Island Regulations 1988, the Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) hereby closes the following waters to all vessels, excluding bona fide emergency vessels, between 6.00 am on Saturday 30th November 2019 to 6.00 pm on Sunday 1st December 2019—Thomson Bay. This has been introduced to assist in achieving public safety during an approved special event. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and maintain a safe clearance when transiting this area.
