👷 Roof Access & Fall Restraint Program

WA government awarded a $387,000 contract to Haz-Ed Services Pty Ltd for roof access and fall restraint installations at prisons and detention centres.

Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Housing and Works (DHW) and Department of Corrective Services are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the installation of roof access and fall restraints at various sites. The premises for these works are as follows: Boronia Pre-Release Facility Karnet Prison Farm Casuarina Prison Wooroloo Prison Farm Banksia Hill Juvenile Detention Centre (Gatehouse Only) Please note the following: Construction methodology, resourcing and program must allow for 2 sites to be completed concurrently. Works to be completed on all sites by 15th June 2026. Contractor personnel must be DOJ cleared in order to carry out works – this process will be undertaken with the successful contractor. Maximum of 2 persons per company at tender briefing and all attendees must bring ID.

The buyer is Programmed Facility Management, acting for the Department of Housing and Works and Department of Corrective Services. The contract value is $387,000 (Fixed Price), awarded via Open Advertisement. The winning contractor is Lucas Parkinson (Haz-Ed Services Pty Ltd).
