This Request is for the provision of a Safe at Home program in Port Hedland, servicing the geographical area within approximately a one-hour radius of Port Hedland. The aim of Safe at Home is to provide support for women, with or without accompanying children, who are experiencing family and domestic violence to stay in their home or a home of their choice, when it is safe to do so. Safe at Home is offered as an alternative to crisis accommodation and is suited to victim-survivors in all styles of accommodation including public housing, private rental, or home ownership.
